At Picasso Painters, we were delighted to be involved in the restoration of a house in Brunswick, Rotorua. The house had suffered from weathering and fading of its original brown paint, calling for a complete transformation to bring it back to life

1. Weatherproofing: We meticulously filled gaps on the battens, ensuring that the house became weather-tight to withstand the elements effectively.
2. Color Matching: To create a seamless look, we carefully matched the new paint color with the roof color "iron sand," enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal.
3. Exterior Painting: Our skilled team applied two coats of high-quality exterior paint to revitalise the entire house. The new paint not only restored its beauty but also provided long-lasting protection.
4. Timber Louvres and Decking: We further enhanced the overall appeal by staining the timber louvres and decking with a rich redwood hue, beautifully blending them with the house's new color scheme.

Beach House, Waiotahi
Project Summary:
This stunning beach house in Waiotahi underwent a complete transformation to achieve the perfect look for its scenic surroundings. With meticulous attention to detail and a careful selection of colors, Picasso Painters brought out the best in this brand new build.
Project Details:
1. Blackout Elegance: The exterior of the beach house was treated to a full black-out effect, imparting an elegant and modern touch. The low-sheen exterior weather shield in the color "Taihape" beautifully complemented the coastal setting.
2. Soffit Perfection: The main soffit on the deck was painted in a charming light grey shade to match the color "Tirau," adding a subtle yet stylish contrast to the overall appearance.
3. Kwila Decking and Green Planting: The rich, warm tones of the kwila decking harmonized wonderfully with the chosen colors, creating a visually appealing ambiance. The surrounding green planting added a natural and refreshing touch.

Nestled in the landscapes of a lifestyle farm, this beautiful home was seeking a new lease of life after years of weathering. Picasso Painters took on the challenge to restore its grandeur by executing a thoughtful and meticulous makeover.
Project Details:
1. Roof Restoration : The roofs and garages were treated to a sophisticated transformation with a semi-gloss iron sand finish. This choice of color exuded elegance while providing excellent protection against the elements.
2. Reviving Cedar: The exterior timber cedar, which had suffered from years of exposure, required special care. Picasso Painters used Intergrain oil-based stain. This meticulous approach helped breathe new life into the wood, enhancing its natural beauty and durability.

Project Summary:
Perched on a picturesque hill, this lovely home demanded a painting makeover to restore its beauty and protect it from further damage. Picasso Painters took on the challenge to address the poorly painted roof and give the exterior rendered walls a refreshed appearance.
Project Details:
1. Roof Restoration: The roof had been poorly painted in the past, with traces of red showing through from the original tiles. To ensure a flawless finish, we started by washing and sealing the roof with a white roof primer. This crucial step prepared the surface for the next phase of the restoration.
2. Transformation in Semigloss: We applied two coats of iron sand paint in semigloss, giving the roof a beautiful shine that enhanced its visual appeal and provided effective protection against the elements.
3. Exterior Rendered Walls: To create a cohesive look for the entire home, we refreshed the exterior rendered walls to match the renewed roof, seamlessly blending the elements of the property.
